Written by Admin | Oct 12, 2026, 11:25:35 PM

Thinking about building a dual living home? Floor plans and renders only tell you so much. To really understand how two homes work under one roof, you need to walk through one.

So for one weekend only, we're opening the doors to the Dakota in Port Macquarie.

Our clients have very kindly agreed to let us open their brand new home before they move in. It's a rare chance to see one of our most popular Dual Living designs finished, styled and ready to explore.

One weekend only

Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October

Port Macquarie. Registration essential. Address sent to registered guests.

Two homes, one roof

The Dakota is part of our Dual Living range. It pairs a spacious main home with an attached granny flat, designed so both spaces work on their own while sharing one build and one block.

It's a design that suits a lot of different plans for the future, which is exactly why it's one of our most requested homes.

Who is the Dakota for?

01 Multi-generational families Keep parents, grandparents or grown-up kids close, while everyone keeps their own space and privacy.
02 Investors Build for two incomes from one property, on one block, in one build.
03 Future planners Live in the main home now and keep your options open for whatever comes next.

Why you need to see it in person

Dual living raises questions that are hard to answer from a brochure. Walking through the Dakota lets you:

  • Get a real feel for the size and flow of both spaces
  • See how privacy works between the main home and the granny flat
  • Check out the finishes and inclusions up close
  • Chat with our team about how the Dakota could work on your block

Registration is essential

As this is our clients' private home, the open home is by registration only. You must register to attend.

Once you register, we'll email you the address and open home times for the weekend. Spots are limited, so get in early.

One weekend. One Dakota. Don't miss it.
