The Journey to their Dream Family Home

For Frank and Dani, building a home was about more than constructing walls, it was about creating a space that truly reflected the way their family lives each day.

From the very start, Dani had a clear vision for their home’s style and atmosphere. A lover of interiors and styling, she wanted every choice to feel intentional, yet welcoming, a space where family life could unfold naturally.

Functional DESIGN

The open plan living that the Barrington design provided, allowed the kids retreat to flow nicely into living, something they also looked for.

Having young kids and cherishing those moments, a kids retreat and living room that was functional and spacious was a must.

The functionality and open living from the rumpus to the living room, was exactly what Frank & Dani were after, making the Barrington 249 design a no brainer.

From Vision to Reality

One of Dani’s favourite spaces is the kitchen, which quickly became the heart of their home. Every detail was considered carefully, especially the island bench, designed to be a striking focal point.

“We wanted the island bench to really stand out, it’s the centrepiece of the kitchen."

BRINGING THEIR VISION TO LIFE

As their journey progressed into the design phase, this became one of the most enjoyable parts of the process. With guidance and support, they were able to refine their ideas and bring their vision together with confidence.

“Our colour selection appointment was a wonderful experience… the teams background in interior design was extremely helpful in bringing our vision to life.

Dani said "We brought a moodbaord and a vision, which they provided perfect selections that didn't just factor our vision but our lifestyle as well”. The structured process, combined with expert advice and a wide range of finishes, made decisions feel simple and well-supported. They also saw strong value in what was included.

BUILDING PROCESS AND MAINTENANCE

Throughout construction, Frank and Dani were impressed by the team’s workmanship and responsiveness. Minor issues were handled quickly, and the home was completed in 15 weeks, faster than expected.

“Our build supervisor was amazing, everything was well managed. A few tiny things came up, but they were quickly resolved. The house was finished to a high standard.”

MOVING IN & EVERYDAY LIFE

Recieving the keys was unforgettable for the young family, it marked a special milestone and the beginning of their next chapter in their stunning family home.

“The first night, we had a picnic on the living room floor with the kids. It was wonderful to finally be in our home and start making it ours.”
