What are the key appointments during the home building process?
After paying your initial fee, a series of 8 appointments will commence. Your initial appointment involves reviewing and signing Contract Plans and Consolidated Tender. The second appointment focuses on selecting colours and fixtures with your Colour Consultant. Appointments 3-8 comprise onsite meetings at various construction stages with your Site Supervisor, allowing you to witness your home's progress firsthand.
How do I ensure the chosen colours complement the overall aesthetic of my new home?

Choosing colours and finishes can feel daunting, especially if you’re worried about making the wrong choice or living with regret later.

You won’t be doing this alone. At HH, you’ll be guided by a fully accredited Colour Consultant who helps you create a cohesive look that reflects your lifestyle and how you choose to live in the home.

Our focus is on helping you avoid costly or permanent design regrets, so your home feels comfortable, functional, and something you’re genuinely proud to come back to every day.

Who will be my point of contact during the building process?
Throughout the building process, you'll be assigned a dedicated point of contact. Our team of Client Liaisons will keep you updated, handle your inquiries, and facilitate communication with all parties involved. With their expertise in project management, they'll ensure a seamless and efficient building experience that aligns with your new home building journey.
I would like to build a new home but… where should I start?

Starting a new home can feel overwhelming, especially when it seems like you need to have everything figured out before you begin.

Building a new home usually involves three key components - land, home design, and finance. Most customers don’t start with all three, and that’s completely normal.

Whether you have none, one, two, or all three components in place, we guide you through what’s missing and help you understand the next best step. The process is consultative, not transactional, and begins with understanding your situation before offering advice.

You don’t need to have all the answers — just a place to start.

Can I modify the design of my new home?

Yes, our designs can be customised to suit your needs and lifestyle.

When you’re considering changes, we’ll walk through what’s possible, what it affects structurally, and how it may influence cost, so you stay in control of your decisions. Sometimes, we may suggest an alternative design option that achieves the same outcome with fewer changes, helping you avoid unnecessary cost.

How can I stay informed about the progress of my new home?
