About Prudence
Prudence completed her double degree in Fine Art and Education from Newcastle University in 2007. For the past decade she has dedicated herself to special education, working as an Assistant Principal at a local Newcastle special school. Whilst on maternity leave she found herself with time to dedicate to her first passion – painting. She now creates from her studio in Newcastle NSW.
Predominantly working with acrylics on canvas, Prudence is influenced by nature, architecture, design, music and fashion. She creates abstract paintings that vary from fervent strokes of colour to more controlled geometric and organic forms.
Prudence has exhibited in several joint and solo exhibitions across Australia. Her original paintings and prints have both been collected internationally and has featured on The Block in 2020 and 2021. She has recently collaborated with Earp Distilling Co, New Zealand Skin Co and GYRE- with her textile designs been featured in 2022 Afterpay Australian Fashion Week.
Her works are currently available through private commission, website, Jumbled Online, Greenhouse Interiors and other stockist throughout Australia.

Terms and Conditions:
Eligibility: The competition to win an Original Artwork by Prudence DeMarchi to celebrate Mother's Day is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years and over, excluding employees and immediate family members of Hunter Homes.
Entry Method: To enter, participants must either:
- Visit the webpage www.hunterhomesnsw.com/win-original-prudence-demarchi-artwork and complete the entry form.
- Utilise the QR code available at any of our display homes to access the entry form.
Entry Period: The competition begins on 13/4/2024 and ends on 12/5/2024. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
Prize: One (1) winner will receive an 80cm x 80cm original artwork by Prudence DeMarchi, presented in an oak frame. The prize must be collected from Hunter Homes Head Office located at 9 Hank Street, Heatherbrae NSW. The artwork will not be shipped.
Winner Selection: The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the entry period. The draw will take place on Sunday 12th May 2024 at 6pm.
Notification of Winner: The winner will be notified via social media and contacted via email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.
Collection of Prize: The winner must collect the artwork from Hunter Homes Head Office at 9 Hank Street, Heatherbrae NSW, within thirty (30) days of being notified of their win.
Publicity: By entering this competition, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry submission for promotional purposes without further compensation or consent.
General Conditions: Hunter Homes reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
Disqualification: Hunter Homes reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, or deemed inappropriate for any reason, as determined at our sole discretion.
Privacy: Personal information provided by entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be disclosed to any third party without the entrant's prior consent.
Governing Law: This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
