Our team is experienced in helping people make this transition well, and we're here to make sure the result is a home you're genuinely happy to settle into for the long term.
Can building with Hunter Homes leave me with money left over?
For many of our customers, yes. Selling a large family home often unlocks significant equity, and building a well-priced, right-sized home with Hunter Homes means a good portion of those funds can be kept for retirement rather than tied up in property. Can you build on my own block of land?
Definitely. If you've already found a block, our team can help you choose a design that suits it and guide you through the full build process. We take care of the details so you're not left figuring it out on your own. If you're still looking for land, we can help point you in the right direction too.
Can I bring my partner or family to meetings and display homes?

Of course. A decision this significant is rarely made alone, and we welcome whoever is part of it. Our display homes are open seven days and our team is always happy to walk you through the designs and answer questions at a pace that suits you.

Will I still have room for the family to visit?
Absolutely. Many of our most popular downsizer designs include three or even four bedrooms, so there's a proper guest room ready when the grandchildren come to stay or the family gathers for the weekend. Are your homes designed for long-term comfortable living?

Yes. A typical downsizer homes are single-storey, which means no stairs and no compromises as your needs change over time. Where do you build?

Hunter Homes builds across NSW, including the Hunter Region covering Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland and the Lower Hunter. We also build in the Upper Hunter, Scone, New England including Armidale, Tamworth and Gunnedah, and along the northern NSW coast from Mid Coast, Taree, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.
